HI FRIEND!
I'm Danielle. So glad you're here!
I'm a mama to two little girls - they used to be "2 under 2" - but that flew by QUICK AF.
Pregnant with our third baby!
Married to my husband Chris for five years now.
We both grew up in Central New Jersey.
We met when I was bartending at Fridays - I threw his number way twice lol
I used to flip liquor bottles in bar competitions back then too!
I got my Masters Degree at Rutgers in HR/Business Management
Chris and I built a house in NC and moved 10 hours away from our families
I got pregnant 8 weeks before our wedding haha no big deal
I got into my blog back when we got engaged and
I was elbows deep in DIY wedding crafts and wedding planning.
I feel like that's where most of you started following me!
Now I have two toddlers and I'm laser focused on being the GATEKEEPER of my home -
keeping my family safer by checking the ingredients and
reading labels on products I used to blindly trust bc they were popular.
I partnered with Young Living because they make/sell the best nontoxic plant based products on the market - in my opinion.
Young Living Seed to Seal Practices are even better quality than your average "USDA Organic" label.
They omit 2.500+ chemicals that are otherwise allowed to enter products in America - chemicals that are banned in other countries - but ok in American Products.
That's just ONE (huge) reason I started buy YL products -
slowly each month switching out several products until I felt more comfortable with my cleaning and personal care products.
Their products have literally changed my family's lives for the better in so many ways and now it is my passion to help other people try some of these items as well!
My mother was diagnosed with Cancer this past summer 2022 and it has changed me in SO many ways.
I hope to use this space as a journal of sorts bc that has been very therapeutic for me in the past -
being able to connect to other people going through simliar situations,
feeling like I'm using this awful scenario to spread some GOOD. That's my hope at least.
Since becoming a mother I have found a new joy in cooking and baking -
specifically organic food - no seed oils or artificial dyes..
it sounds rather simple but I found it to be kinda challenging to find healthy alternatives when I first started paying attention to what I was buying to feed my family.
You'll find lots of great recipes here that I love - I hope you'll love them too!
*Still trying to figure out how to connect them to my pinterest so I can pin them there - ONE DAY! haha
Lastly I wanted to share some of my favorite "must have products" with you guys on my amazon shop.
I hope that over time those lists will continue to grow and you will all find it useful!
Thank you for being here and if you need anything please dont hesitate to reach out my friend.
- Danielle XO
